PRIVATE CLASSES
The Scottish Cooking Experience
Are you looking for a bespoke & special attraction in Inverness or the Highlands? Something to make your vacation to Scotland as memorable as possible? You are invited to book and enjoy a private Scottish scone-making experience, designed for travelers just like you, seeking an authentic yet refined taste of Highland life.
Break up your trips to enchanting Scottish castles, take a break from playing golf and sampling fabulous Scottish whisky and step into a local home, the most authentic way to experience the real Scotland.
This exclusive class is reserved entirely for you and your chosen group, offering a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where time slows down and traditions come to life. Set within a real Highland home, the experience combines hands-on baking with storytelling, local culture, and warm Scottish hospitality.
You’ll be personally guided through the art of making traditional Scottish scones from scratch, using time-honoured methods. As your scones bake, you’ll enjoy conversation, cultural insight, and the simple pleasure of being fully present. The experience concludes with freshly baked scones served with tea, coffee, and classic accompaniments — a true taste of Scotland.
Private classes are ideal for couples, families, and small groups of friends, accommodating 1–8 guests. This experience caters for any mobility issues your group has, as it’s wheelchair accessible and mostly seated.
Due to demand and the bespoke nature of the experience, a minimum spend of £200 per private session applies.
If you’re looking for things to do in Inverness and a luxury cultural experience in Scotland, something personal, memorable, and deeply local, this is a highlight you’ll carry with you long after your journey ends.
